First identify what is failing
Note whether the player cannot sign in, the playlist is empty, one channel fails, or all playback buffers. These are different symptoms. Record the exact error, device, player name and when it started before contacting support.
- Check that the device can open another internet service.
- Check the subscription or trial has not expired.
- Close other active streams if you may have reached your connection allowance.
- Restart the player and device once, then test again.
Login or playlist errors
Enter the server address, username and password exactly as supplied. Watch for leading spaces, confused characters and a server address pasted into the wrong field. Do not publish a screenshot containing credentials.
If credentials are accepted but the playlist is empty, refresh the playlist using the player controls. Check with support before deleting your account configuration or reinstalling the player. Keep a private copy of the original access instructions.
Buffering and channel-specific failures
Compare several channels on the same device. A failure limited to one channel can have a different cause from all streams stopping. Test another device on the same connection when possible, while staying within your stream allowance.
For Wi-Fi problems, move closer to the router or test a wired connection if your device supports it. Pause large downloads while testing. Changing one variable at a time gives support more useful evidence than resetting everything.
What to send to support
Contact ViewTVY support through the site chat or support email. Do not buy another plan simply to diagnose a technical problem.
- Your device model and player version.
- The error message with credentials removed.
- Whether all channels or only named channels fail.
- The time of the problem and whether another device works.
- The troubleshooting steps already tried.
