Check the installer before running it

Use the publisher’s legitimate distribution channel for the player you intend to use. Confirm that its requirements match your Windows version. A search result containing a familiar app name is not proof that an installer is official.

If Windows shows an unexpected publisher or security warning, verify the source rather than disabling protection to continue. This guide does not provide or certify a Smarters installer.

Prepare the account and network

Keep the order instructions available privately. Match the supplied playlist or server credentials to the player’s actual input method. Start with one active stream to avoid confusing a connection-limit issue with a computer fault.

Pause large transfers for a controlled test. If possible, compare Wi-Fi with a wired connection using the same channel and player so that only one variable changes.

Check sound and display independently

If the picture plays without sound, check the player’s mute state, Windows volume and selected output device. A laptop connected to a television may be sending audio to a different output than expected.

If only one channel lacks sound or picture, compare another channel before changing system-wide settings. Record whether the failure affects the built-in display, an external display or both.

Give support a reproducible report

  • Windows version and player version.
  • Whether login and playlist loading succeed.
  • The affected channel and approximate time.
  • Whether the same account works on another supported device within the stream allowance.
  • The exact error, with credentials removed.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Should I disable Windows security to install a player?

Verify the installer and publisher instead of weakening security to bypass an unexplained warning.

Does a sound problem always mean the stream is broken?

No. Check the selected output and compare another channel before deciding where the fault is.
